“Fragments of Violence – Turkey 2013-2018” is a video essay by the Atina Collective that tries to tackle the issue of public violence in Turkey in the period between 2013 and 2018. It is a work where we have tried to handle the issue with care, and with feminist care. Asking the questions of what to do with images, transposing them one over the other, we try to navigate through the “small picture”.
Although the period is difficult for us to revisit, we believe that it makes sense to go over things. Therefore come join us in Bethanien on Sunday night, for a screening and discussion to be followed by dinner.
